WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING
While You Were Sleeping (WYWS) was a graffiti and pop culture magazine created in 1997 by 19 year old Roger Gastman. From stories on admirable serial killers, punk rock and hardcore (AFI to Vanilla Ice), child stars (Gary Coleman and Corey Feldman), photos and interviews with the days best graffiti and street artists (ESPO, BANKSY, SHEPARD FAIREY, BATES, QUIK...), to naked sisters and porn stars (Ron Jeremy, Jenna Jameson…) this magazine was a journey into the dirty minds of Roger Gastman and his team of juvenile delinquents and had national distribution six times a year, with a circulation of 50,000 plus.
